Welcome to Pawsome Spirit
At Pawsome Spirit dog training, I believe dogs thrive when their natural drives are understood and given direction.
Every dog has their own instincts, motivations and personality. My role is to help you recognise what makes your dog tick - and turn that into focus, confidence and real-world reliability.
Starting Blocks gives puppies and beginners the clarity and structure they need to settle, engage and build strong foundations for whatever direction you choose next.
Parkour is where dogs discover what their bodies can do. Through creative obstacle work - from precision paw targets and pivots to skateboards, handstands and amazing plank work - dogs build strength, awareness and confidence in ways that are fun, challenging and deeply rewarding.
All Stars is where connection meets momentum. Drawing from the foundations of multiple dog sports, this class develops skills like send away's, directional skills, impulse control and sharp, joyful recalls. Dogs learn to think under speed and stay connected even in exciting, distracting environments!
This isn’t about rigid drills or perfection.
It’s about building skills that last, a partnership you can rely on and celebrating each dogs individuality and spirit!
A little about me....

I believe training should feel purposeful — not about suppressing a dog’s spirit, but about shaping it with clarity and direction.
I started this company several years ago as Pawsome Manners, running traditional life skills classes. I’ve always cared about helping dogs and owners feel more settled and confident. Over time though, I realised I wanted to offer more than just the basics. I found myself far more interested in helping dogs think, regulate and truly engage with their humans - not just perform behaviours on cue. This is where my love of dog sports came into its own.
Living with a sensitive, reactive dog taught me more about clarity, advocacy and patience than any textbook ever could. It shaped the way I see behaviour - not as something to “fix,” but something to understand and guide.
My background includes studying psychology and training in education, and I’ve always been fascinated by how behaviour is shaped - in both dogs and people. Small shifts in timing, clarity or body language can completely change how a dog responds (and how an owner feels). That curiosity still drives how I teach today.
I grew up surrounded by dogs and spent years involved in obedience, agility and flyball before shifting my focus toward sports-inspired training for everyday dogs. I love the structure and skill that sport foundations bring - but I’m far more interested in adapting those skills to suit a dogs needs than chasing a rulebook.
I hold an Ofqual-regulated Level 3 qualification in Canine Behaviour and Training and am an Advanced Dog Parkour UK Instructor. I continue to expand my knowledge through ongoing professional study across different sports and training systems.
Above all, I want owners to leave feeling capable. I want you to understand your dog, see progress, and feel proud of the partnership you’re building.
